Stay & Tour at Trawool

Oasis in the Bush, Overnight Winery Package

  • Taste more than relaxation when you combine a Rambling Wine Tour with a stay at the Trawool Estate.

An oasis overlooking the National Trust listed Trawool Valley, the Trawool Estate is an iconic property where locals gather, and visitors experience a unique gateway among nature. Acquired in 2019 by a local family passionate about breathing new life into this historic building, every space has undergone significant beautification.

Your wine and stay package will start from $650 for two people to experience a half-day bespoke Rambling Wine Tour, visiting 3 wineries in the Nagambie Lakes/Strathbogie Ranges Wine Region (with a grazing style lunch), and a night’s stay in a Luxury King Room at Trawool Estate. Rambling Wine Tours tailor our itineraries based on guests’ wine preferences, so prepare yourself for a truly great experience.

  • Minimum 2 guests - from $750 per couple (+ GST)

Reduced per person rates for larger groups.

Can be upgraded with other Rambling packages such as full-day Wine & Dine or Ultimate Tasting Experience.

  • Exchange city crowds for hundred-year-old trees with an indulgent nature escape at the freshly renovated Trawool Estate, less than a 1.5hr drive from Melbourne. Surrounded by uninterrupted views of the Trawool Valley, this beautiful resort-style heritage hotel offers farm-to-table dining, an outdoor swimming pool and luxe accommodation, perfect for everyone from large groups to couples looking for a romantic escape.

Head Chef Eric Kwek ensures foodies and wine lovers will be delighted in the 100-seat restaurant, Wild Water or enjoy their casual drinking space at the Granite Bar where you can catch up with friends or enjoy a bite to eat in front of their open fireplace. Turbine restaurant is their amazing new speakeasy style bar featuring share-style Asian cuisine and impeccable cocktails, set in an intimate space downstairs. Herb Garden is the place to be seen in summer where you can purchase meals and drinks from the Granite Bar menu and listen to the soundtrack of your summer playing in the background.

Adventurers can get their fix with horse-riding, cycling and bushwalking on the Great Victorian Rail Track, which is right at the front of the Trawool Estate.
